SemiDomesticated Show & Sell 5: Funky Fresh

Our friends over at SemiDomesticated have invited us to participate in their Show & Sell #5, entitled Funky Fresh. We’ll be showcasing a few vintage shoes from our archives there, selling pairs to some lucky folks to who fit the sizes we have. Up for grabs is an adidas Connector Hi, adidas Jazz, adidas Handball Super Hi, and an Ewing II Rivalry.

The event is part of Berlin’s Bread and Butter fashion week, and is hosted at the MindPirates Vereinsheim (an alternative film production firm and underground club space) in Berlin, Germany. Many different vintage sellers and designers have been invited to contribute to the show, including:

Flying Dutchgirl, Friederike Porscha, Ghost-Gum, Helen Helen, Jesper Jensen, Little Pop Machine, Matthew Appleby, Mika Modiggård, Molly Morgan, Neklo, Noïca, Onkto Katuh, Pam Schriever, Retusj, Rui Duarte, Sara Kwon, ShowRaum, Sooph, Tata Christiane & Trinkhallen Schickeria.

The event lasts for four days and the program is as follows:

OPENING NIGHT
Meet and greet our designers and get first dibs on their newest collections. Funky mixes by Jackmaster Maher and Thomas Cunningham IV.

Special Premier at 20:00 — Online Superchannel NETWORK AWESOME presents the FLYING VHS pilot screening — a VHS-shot Berlin Based live music series. Featuring local rock rascals Chuckamuck and angry Australian noisemakers Deaf Wish.

Special guest, fashion designer and seamstress, Molly Morgan provides on-site, affordable alterations to those who bring garments in disrepair or in need of a spruce-up. Donate your old clothes or swap them for something new.

All day showroom and festivities with umbrella drinks and funky fresh music mixes. Mobile Mexican delights delivered by Tacos Berlin Tacotruck from 18:00
