The Fat Bandit Loot Pack

Not everyone is a collector, but those who are already have a lot on their hands. When it comes to Antony Jackson though, he’s burning the midnight oil with his clothing brand, and we’re excited to give some pieces away.

If you’re not following our Instagram you may have missed the announcement that we’ve dropped a quick and easy contest in collaboration with Antony Jackson, the British mastermind behind The Fat Bandit clothing brand. Targeted at the casuals scene, Antony’s putting out precious T-shirts, Polo’s, and bucket hats to a tasty tune of affordable sterling.

After interviewing the friendly bloke he was kind enough to send out a bucket hat and T-shirt (sized to fit the winner, of course) and we’ve set an end date of October 31st, inspired by Halloween.

So if you don’t have a costume yet then you better hop on over to Instagram where the contest is taking place. All you need to do is find the contest image in our photostream, like it, repost it, and then follow eatmoreshoes and The Fat Bandit for a chance to win.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.

How to contribute

Currently eatmoreshoes is open to covering and promoting any creative individuals who love sneakers and find themselves (and their work) somehow relative to the various shoe scenes around the globe. Welcome to eatmoreshoes, an online magazine specifically geared towards the adidas and PUMA brands.

The idea behind our magazine is relatively simple: we’re creating a site that showcases both the ‘history’ and the ‘hype’ of the worldwide sneaker culture without being elitist or trying to dictate to our readers. We cover various aspects of this culture by providing archives of adidas and PUMA shoes and clothing, hunting down and interviewing collectors, searching out the best stores we can find, and reporting on the hype.
