To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, the infamous record label Def Jam teamed up with adidas to put out a series of shoes, apparel, and accessories. Many of these kicks were designed in collaboration with Def Jam’s various rap and hip hop artists, one of which is Young Jeezy (aka the Snowman). His face appears on a few different Forum Mid’s as well as a pair of Superstars.
This Forum Mid comprises of black leather with lime green stripes, midsole, and inner. The trefoil logo and adidas lettering on the outsole are both in the same ‘macaw’ green.
The outsole itself is mostly white, with a lower black layer broken apart by green in the center and forefoot. Young Jeezy’s logo is printed in gold on the side panel and his portrait appears on the tongue and innersole. The shoes come with black and green laces.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes
Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.
For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.
