Nicknamed the Vegas Tim Duncan, these luxury Superstar 1′s were inspired by Timothy Theodore “Tim” Duncan, a basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs.

A gorgeous, black leather upper, textured with an alligator skin pattern, is broken only by the metallic gold side stripes. The black continues into the eyelets, tongue, and heel patch, all accented with gold logos and details. The insole features a green and gold print of a horse shoe and a good luck message: ‘LUCK MAKES FOR FORTUNE’.

The black shell toe matches the upper part of the outsole, both attached to the upper with gold stitching. The shoes come with cream laces and a gold horse shoe jewel that hangs by a small chain.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.
