As part of the Four Elements (4E) series adidas dropped a pair of hologram Superstar 86s and this matching windbreaker track top. The set was released to pay homage to one of the four elements of hip hop culture: the art of breakdancing.

Aptly nicknamed the ‘Uprock’ windbreaker, this lightweight polyester top is mostly purple, with a lower white section, and blue highlights in the trim, zippers, and drawstrings. The main design feature of the jacket is the dance-inspired, graphical print on the sleeves, upper back, and hood. The inside is lined with white mesh and allows the jacket to breath properly.

Overall the 4E Uprock raincoat has an 80s feel to it, delivered through the loud colorway and fresh, clean design. The matching 4E Uprock Superstar 86 shoe is equally flashy (sporting the same colorway with a graphical hologram), and together the pair are a must-have for any collector, dancer, or lover of adidas and hip hop culture.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.

Welcome to eatmoreshoes, an online magazine specifically geared towards the adidas and PUMA brands.

The idea behind our magazine is relatively simple: we’re creating a site that showcases both the ‘history’ and the ‘hype’ of the worldwide sneaker culture without being elitist or trying to dictate to our readers.
