- SERIES: ADIDAS ADICOLOR
- PACK: ADIDAS ADICOLOR 6TH PALETTE
- DESIGNED BY: Bill McMullen
- MADE IN: PHILIPPINES
- MADE ON: 07/06
The sixth adicolor palette was designed exclusively for Foot Locker by Bill McMullen – a graphic designer from San Diego living and working in New York City who has done work for Def Jam. Seven shoes and matching track tops were released representing the Big Apple and it’s Five Boroughs.
This track top was inspired by Staten Island which is depicted in the large, colorful print across the chest. The back of the jacket is decorated with a transfer of the statue of liberty holding a trefoil instead of a torch, and displays the words ‘STATEN ISLAND NYC’. The adicolor New York City emblem is displayed on the front lower left nearby the pocket.
The white polyester jacket has green highlights in the sleeve stripes, collar, and waist band. A tag sewn to the inside of the collar reveals the jacket to be adicolor release G6 and dons Bill McMullen’s signature and web address.
