Graffiti has always been influencing the shoe scene and it was no surprise why adidas chose to release the End 2 End series in 2007. Smart One collaborated with adidas to release a Stan Smith and this matching hoodie.
More of a jumper than a traditional track top, this part cotton, part polyester pullover features a front pouch pocket and a hood with draw strings. The main body of the garment is light gray with darker gray trims and red and white accents.
The pouch pocket is decorated with a large gray, red and white transfer of a Smart piece (the same one as on his Stan Smith’s). Red dotted lines are embroidered on the sleeves, illustrating his throw-up letters in large vertical alignment underneath the dark gray stripes. The adidas trefoil logo is embroidered into the left breast pocket and also appears next to the End 2 End logo near the cuff of the right sleeve. Smart’s tag can also been seen on the right side of the hood.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes
Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.
For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.
