adidas Originals Berlin 10th Anniversary Teaser
Berlin has long been the home to the first ever adidas Originals store, not just in Germany, but in all of Europe. The spacious and well-lit O-store sitting in Berlin’s Mitte on Munzstrasse has been busy providing both collectors and casual wearers with adidas sneakers, apparel, and accessories for a full decade now. To celebrate the 10th birthday of the Berlin Originals store, adidas will be throwing an event on the 10th of September and releasing some special gear.
The main news is that a gorgeous ZX 9000 will be released. The colorway and materials can be seen now at the O-Store in Berlin, and we’ve included a sneak peak in the photos accompanying this article. It’s known that the shoes are all made right here in Germany and come in a blue and gold box, similar to a Consortium or Flavours Of The World release.
To go with the shoes there will be a special edition “Colorado” track top. The nickname is the adidas’ in-house term used to describe the colorblocking style with the two little triangles under shoulders. Both products have been produced in limited numbers of 150 each and it’s no doubt that collectors will be sleeping outside the night before in order to get their hands on the goods.
Rumor also has it that the New York and Japan Originals stores are both celebrating birthdays as well, and if we’re lucky we’ll be seeing the New York Conductor Hi and the Japan Superstar in the Berlin adidas Originals store on the 10th as well. If this dream comes true be sure that numbers will be extremely limited.
Whether you’re coming after the limited edition releases or simply have a love of adidas in general, don’t miss out on this enormous event.
