Foot Patrol x adidas Campus 80s B-Sides

  • DESIGNED BY: Foot Patrol
  • MADE ON: --/11
  • ART.NO: G45941

In 2007 the London-based shoe boutique Foot Patrol collaborated with adidas Originals on three different Campus 80s, one in mustard yellow, one in deep red, and another in light grey. The highlight of the kicks was the soft suede uppers and the unique design of the side stripes: the outer stripes were white leather and the inner stripes were snakeskin. The shoe was a massive hit, released in limited numbers, and hardly forgotten even four years later.

Now in 2011 Foot Patrol is back on the scene again, dropping yet another Campus 80s with adidas Originals for the B-Sides series. Paying homage to their 2004 releases, the shoe is quite similarly designed. Full, soft, dark navy blue suede upper, classic off-white colored outsole, and white heel patch and outer side stripes. But that’s not all, just as the A-Sides drops were done with a touch of animal texture, these Campus 80s B-Sides are given black and marine colored pony hair side stripes on the inner shoe wall.

Released on September 17th, these sweet kicks were sold at various select boutiques such as Foot Patrol and No6 in London, and No74 in Berlin. A launch party was thrown the Friday before the official release at Foot Patrol in London.
