In 2002 Jeremy Scott collaborated with adidas Originals on a Forum that has become one of his rarest creations in (nearly) the last decade he’s been working with the sportswear company: the Jeremy Scott “Money” Forum. Complete with an all-over American dollar bill print, this shoe was snapped up quickly by collectors and resellers, and is still heavily sought after even today.
This year (2011) Jeremy Scott returns to the Forum silhouette, asked by adidas to create a remake of his “Money” Forum for the B-Sides release. It’s rumored that Jeremy said he would never put this shoe out again and so he had to push the envelope – not a hard task for a creative man of his originality – in order to come up with an alternative, yet similar design.
The final product is a Forum Hi in three shades of brown, with an all-over printed synthetic upper displaying his main branding slogan: “Jeremy Scott New York Paris Beverly Hills”. The main upper is a dark tan color, most of the text is done in either light tan on dark brown or the reverse, and the midsole, side stripes, and laces are dark brown. The gum outsole matches the tongue tag branded with the adidas trefoil.
