YAKfilms x Neverstop x adidas Originals Bay Area All Stars (Director’s Cut)

YAKfilms collaborates with Neverstop to produce this amazing dance video entitled Bay Area All Stars showcasing the best of the best from Northern California’s street dance scene. Appearances are made by top acts from one of the Bay’s two most infamous TURF crews, the original Anamaniakz and the legendary TURF FEINZ, as well as Oakland Turf, Turf Dolls, and other freestyle and hip hop dance crews such as 2nd Nature, Storytellers, MTK, Supreme Soul, Triple Threat, and even YAK.

The direction and cinematography of the video is inspired by the much older dance video filmed in London’s underground system for the track “Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)” by Hashim (Street Sounds). The project was sponsored by adidas Originals in their constant pursuit to help the underground music and street dance scenes grow and flourish. This is a collaboration between Neverstop and YAK FILMS to remix an old school black and white dance video from the Underground in London into a new TURF style video in the San Francisco BART and MUNI systems.
