MODEL: ADIDAS PERFEKT

The adidas Perfekt is a vintage, low-cut, running trainer originally released over three decades ago. Its thin, compact, shapely silhouette is made of a one-piece black leather upper with a reinforced toe for durability in extended use. The black is contrasted with yellow sides stripes, trim around the ankle, tongue, laces, and heel patch.

The model name, “Perfekt”, is written in gold diagonally down the upper above the third side stripe. Its soft, textured, synthetic foam tongue is punctured with holes for ventilation and printed with the adidas trefoil logo in black. The thin sockliner walls give the shoe a close, lightweight fit.

Completed with a saw-toothed, hard rubber sole, providing extra traction, this adidas trainer is the perfect vintage choice for running on rough terrain, indoor or outdoor.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.

Welcome to eatmoreshoes, an online magazine specifically geared towards the adidas and PUMA brands.

The idea behind our magazine is relatively simple: we’re creating a site that showcases both the ‘history’ and the ‘hype’ of the worldwide sneaker culture without being elitist or trying to dictate to our readers. We cover various aspects of this culture by providing archives of adidas and PUMA shoes and clothing, hunting down and interviewing collectors, searching out the best stores we can find, and reporting on the hype.
