adidas Kegler Super

In 2003 adidas dropped a remake of the Kegler Super in a very classic colorway. This low-cut German bowling shoe is well-known for it’s innovative heel pressure technology, made simply with a peg system that allows the wearer to adjust the back cushioning of the midsole.

A firm, white leather upper contrasted by dark blue side stripes and heel patch wraps up from the off-white hard plastic midsole fitted with white, blue, and red pegs. The real treat is the grey suede layer that covers the front of the toe box, stretching all the way down to the outsole and acting as protection against the shoe’s leather which is commonly worn down as Keglen players drag their feet for a ball toss.

This pair even comes with extra pegs as well as a black plastic peg key used to quickly pop the pegs out of place when making adjustments to the heel pressure.
