Japanese sneaker house atmos is not an unfamiliar name for sneaker fans around the world, the stylish and envelope-pushing crew known best for their animal-inspired designs and love of glow-in-the-dark materials. Once again collaborating with adidas Originals, the two come together in an effort to continue the G-SNK (glow-in-the-dark snakeskin) line, dropping two different colorways on the adidas ZX 8000 silhoutte.
The darker colorway is all black and white in a classic, clean, and down-to-business sports look. As most three stripes fans surely know already, the ZX 8000 is built upon the Torsion system, an outsole technology that allows the forefoot and heel to move and twist separately. Design-wise, the white and black upper is speckled with a glow-in-the-dark snakeskin patterning and splashed with a bit of silver leather in the heel.
Packaged in the typical royal blue adidas Originals box, the kicks come with an extra pair of black laces, and will likely attract a bit of design hipsters among the true runner heads, scooping them more for the daylight look than the glow-in-the-dark appeal.
