Crepe City 5

Founded in 2009, the fifth installment of the London Sneaker Festival known as Crepe City returns this year to the Bar Music Hall in Shoreditech on Sunday, March 4th, 2012. Boasting over one thousand kicks for sale from twenty of the UK’s leading collectors and resellers as well as booths setup by London’s most successful streetwear brands it’s a sure bet that any sneaker head will find what they’re after at Crepe City 5.

Crepe City’s organizers have promised that their sneaker selling collectors will be offering vintage kicks from the early 80s, including original releases from both adidas and PUMA. Urban labels such as Pinspired, Dat Tag, Trikki, and Rawvault will be making appearances to sling their goods as well. Crepe city caters for all style and sizes (including the leather loving ladies out there) and prices are reported to range between £30 a bargains and £500 exclusives.

Even customizers will be present to deck out your own pair of shoes. Artisans such as Triple Zed and Food Sneakers will be painting up your pairs and even Shoeture will be there dropping exclusive sneaker jewelry. Musicians such as DJ Zoel (The Bang Bang) and Chris P Cuts (Funhouse) will be keep the air lively all day dropping beats and good browsing tracks. Not to mention that the bar and kitchen will be open serving breakfasts and fresh crepes, hence the festival’s name.

To sell or swap your trainers at the festival you can contact the Crepe City crew at crepecity@gmail.com for more information. The event itself will be running from 1pm to 7pm and the £2 entry fee can be purchased in advance from Ticketweb or simply bought at the door on upon arrival.
