As part of its “Bring Backs” series, PUMA dropped these “leprechaun” green Clyde’s among a variety of other colorways – such as the well-known “snorkel” blue, lesser known “flint” grey, and undoubtedly bright “spectra” yellow, to name a few – to large acclaim and appreciation of classic suede silhouette lovers worldwide. An already simple model, the Clyde was made even more classy (if that’s even possible) with these monochrome makeups, giving them a humble yet proud appearance on those that wear them.
Pictured here is actually a sample pair of the spritely colored “leprechaun” green version. Soft suede upper, solid white outsole, and gold side printing are all that is needed to spell out style and comfort in a casual and confident form. With forthright drops like these it’s no wonder that trainer connoisseurs continue to talk about the big cat company; they make memorable products for social people.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes
Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.
For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.
