Obviously part of adidas’ European City Series, the Paris silhouette was produced to pay homage to the home of the Eiffel Tower. Pictured here is the red on blue colorway that matches the flag of France, which may arguably be the most memorable OG version of this model. However it’s not the only original release of the Paris, and other make-ups were dropped, such as black stripes on blue, and black or blue stripes on white, to name a few.

To the untrained eye this Paris and the OG Dublin (both Roumanian-made) might look alike, but the pair pictured here are actually made of leather and not suede. Furthermore the Paris sports a non-gum, off-white outsole.

Unlike many vintage models, the Paris has continued to be released over the years. Although many variations and different hue combinations have been dropped, it’s the iconic French colorway that maintains this pair’s true essence as a part of the OG European City Series releases.
