The PUMA Shadow Society decided to take an athletic approach on this black and blue jacket. It’s main distinguishing technical feature is the reversed zipper that provides closure for the wearer. It leaves the teeth of the zipper hidden on the inside, unable to be disturbed by outside forces. The material that the jacket is composed of is carbon coated, leaving a waxed look that’s oddly appealing to the eye.
Speaking of eyes, the insignia for the unknown group is located on a brown, tumbled leather badge located on the left wrist. While most of the jacket is a lifeless black, it is kept alive by the “mosaic” blue which hangs off of the concealed pocket zipper, makes up the whole left pocket, and holds down the flap that lies across the shoulder blades. And it wouldn’t be mysterious enough without the added hood.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes
Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.
For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.
