Presented here we’ve a pretty laid back colorway for the Boston Super from what we’ve seen before. Without the typical flash they’re a nice Fall pair, especially considering their late release in 2007.

The light “clay” brown patches are a soft suede, constrasting to the rough, hard, black stripes, met in the middle with a firm and tough, tan leather. Nubuck appears briefly on the black heel patch, giving this rather anti-social pair (at least color-wise) an incredible combination of charismatic materials. Too bad you truly have to get up close and touch it to take much notice.

Honestly, other than that, there’s not a lot to say. It’s unfortunate, but through our research we were not able to uncover the true meaning behind this Boston Super’s upgrade acronym, FTR, so if any adi-fans out there have a clue, please drop a note in the comments section below!

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.

Welcome to eatmoreshoes, an online magazine specifically geared towards the adidas and PUMA brands.

The idea behind our magazine is relatively simple: we’re creating a site that showcases both the ‘history’ and the ‘hype’ of the worldwide sneaker culture without being elitist or trying to dictate to our readers.
