The Conductor Hi meets the Consortium series in a bright and abstract colorway.

It may be safe to say that most sneaker freaks out there can appreciate an entirely – or in this case, almost entirely – white shoe, despite how hard they are to keep fresh and clean. The simple, elegant look of a bright, white shoe is hard to match.

This Conductor has a white leather upper, toe box, and tongue. The side stripes are filled in with an abstract, almost bauhaus-like pattern consisting of colored bars in pink, green, and two different blues. The bright and funky pattern is echoed in the upper half of the out sole and the plastic lace jewels that come locked to the white laces.

The colorway is further characterized by the subtle inclusion of the adidas royal blue in the heel trefoil, top eyelets, and branding on the bottom of the out sole.

The shoes come in the typical, over-sized, extra thick, side-hinged Consortium shoe box. There is also a matching pair of ZX 800′s from the same release time.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.

Welcome to eatmoreshoes, an online magazine specifically geared towards the adidas and PUMA brands.

The idea behind our magazine is relatively simple: we’re creating a site that showcases both the ‘history’ and the ‘hype’ of the worldwide sneaker culture without being elitist or trying to dictate to our readers. We cover various aspects of this culture by providing archives of adidas and PUMA shoes and clothing, hunting down and interviewing collectors, searching out the best stores we can find, and reporting on the hype.
