The Decade Low Money is a remake of the classic 1985 basketball shoe. Released under the Consortium series, as a part of the Money Pack, the shoe was only distributed by select boutiques and stores.
The main shoe upper and outer edges of the toe box are made of reflective gold leather with a rugged, black print depicting Chinese currency. The coin is repeated in the center of the heel, which – along with the toe box, tongue, and side stripes – is made of dark, red suede.
Both eyelet runways are red, patent leather, matching the bottom five eyelets. The top eyelet is styled gold to contrast against the others in the typical Consortium signature style. The outer sole is mostly white with a red highlight on the very bottom to contrast with the eyelets and suede areas. The insole is printed with the usual Consortium pattern in a gold and red to match the rest of the shoe.
The Decade Low Money is a comfortable shoe, yet firm as most Consortium Decade’s can be found to be. It’s sold in a Consortium box with a pair of red laces to match the side stripes.
