The Materials of the World England TT is one of the most incognito track tops that adidas has ever released, looking more like a suit coat than a sports jacket.

The outer wool shell is decorated with a black and gray Glen plaid pattern, lined with very subtle royal blue tints. A flap of fabric extends down from the right shoulder and is fastened to the breast with a button displaying the trefoil logo and the words ‘BEKLEIDUNG EST. 1949′.

The collar, cuffs, and waist band match the all black zipper. The inner lining of the jacket is a smooth royal blue polyester. Just below the collar is the typical Materials of the World badge labeling the jacket as part of this rare and international series.

The anatomy of the jacket is unique when compared with the typical track top style; besides the usual lower side pockets there is a mini side pocket on the right, a breast pocket on the right, and two pockets on the inside.

Contribute hype to eatmoreshoes

Here at eatmoreshoes we love our kicks, but we also open our minds to the greater cultural world that surrounds and engulfs the sneaker scenes around the world. Music, arts, events, films, performance, fashion, food, and people are at the heart of what is so good about lush leather and sweet suede strapped to your ankles with soft vintage laces, fats or thins, colored or bleached. We truly believe it’s the diversity of the scenes that make things stay exciting and keep up momentum year after year.

For this reason we see ‘hype’ as something that should cover more than just the most recent shoe releases or the most awaited collaborations between boutiques and brands. We think an album debut party or an avantgarde street performance could be ‘hype’. We think independent zine issues and self-built, DIY, underground gallery spaces are worthy of the title ‘hype’.
